The Federal Aviation Administration said Thursday that a four-hour network failure had been resolved, though flight delays and cancellations are expected to continue to affect across the eastern United States. JORDAN Metters could be the latest Weymouth player to try and re-ignite his season with a spell in Dave Kiteley's reserve side. Winger Matt Groves has forced his way back into the first team reckoning after a couple of impressive performances under Kiteley, and Metters will be hoping to make the same impression when the Terras' reserves host Westland Sports at the Wessex Stadium tomorrow (2pm). And Kiteley is expecting a good game between second-placed Weymouth and fourth-placed Westland.

It will be an outstanding game of football because Westland do play very good football and obviously we like to get it down and play   -Dave Kiteley

 

Leah Hartong and Travis Thompson were united in marriage by the Rev. Terry Smith at the Ravenna Church of Christ on Aug. 15. The groom is the son of Betty Thompson of Ravenna and the late Thomas Thompson. The bride was escorted by her father.  

Pennar Robins bagged two-second half goals to secure an excellent victory over stunned Goodwick United at Phoenix Park. Last week Goodwick stole a late point at champions Hakin United , but this week, Bernie Armstrong's Goodwick outfit found it hard to get out of first gear. The chirpy Robins moved up to third in the table while Goodwick slipped down to seventh.

What's been wrong with Wood? As I've tracked the performances of the 2010 Texas commits in the Friday Night Lights Wrap, one of the themes of the season has been a less than stellar completion percentage from quarterback commit Connor Wood, along with a relatively poor team record and a few more interceptions than anyone would like -- he's completing only 54% of his passes and has thrown six interceptions. The question, then, is why Wood's numbers are down?
